Our ambitious and exuberant leader, Sarah is the inexhaustible creative energy behind Sarah Waller Architecture. Originally hailing from the UK with a multitude of qualifications including Bachelor of Arts, Masters in Architecture and an Open Builder’s Licence, Sarah’s passion for Architecture and Design is all encompassing. She has a love of monochrome, an obsession for plants and stationery and when she’s not busy running her two companies (Sarah Waller Architecture and Sarah Waller Building) she’s enjoying time with her husband and two daughters at the beach.
Sarah’s right hand man on all our projects, Adam is a master of CAD. Graduating from QUT with a Bachelors degree in Design (Architectural Studies) and a Masters of Architecture, Adam spent the first couple years of his career working for commercial firms in Brisbane, Sydney and Shanghai. Since starting at Sarah Waller Design, he’s traded in his long daily commute to Brisbane for a quick zip up to Noosa and the ability to come in late if the surf is looking good! When he’s not in the office or the ocean, he can be found shaping unique and unusual surfboards for himself and his friends.
Our smiliest team member and creator of beautiful spaces, Simone is another powerhouse of creative energy. With over 15 years experience, Simone is our sounding board of style, consulting on everything from colour selection to furnishing and interior finishes. Not the type to sit still for too long, Simone always has multiple projects in hand, with her own company Simone Barter Design Studio, plus twin daughters, two dogs and three birds to keep her on the move. Check out her work via her stunning Instagram page.
With a childhood of creative endeavour and a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, Advertising and Illustration behind her, Amanda is our visual and branding expert. Her incredibly diverse range of experience gleaned from around the globe and insatiable artistic appetite keep our brand identity fresh and consistent. Another UK convert and avid traveller, Amanda also holds a significant role in a college mentoring program for students in the USA, providing guidance and support to prospective graphic designers.
Half British, half Australian industry newbie Esme is our go-to, odd job gal. A recent understanding of her passion for Architecture led her by chance to her intern style role at Sarah Waller Design, and in turn inspired her to study a Bachelor of Applied Science (Interior Architecture) via online learning. Before she qualifies she plans to live in a few more countries (she’s already up to 4).
Lou can be found running all things around the Office at Sarah Waller Architecture. With a Bachelor of Journalism (Minor Political Science & International Relations) behind her and years of experience in the field of Communications, Media and Events, there’s no job too big or too small. In a previous life Lou spent over a decade overseas working on professional Superyachts, sailing around the world, she traded that all in to come back to her home and now enjoys her relaxed coastal life with her young son and partner. When not at work Lou can be found out and about exploring the outdoors, at the beach or volunteering for her local Coast Care organisation.
